Its good to see the quest to build the ultimate folding bike continues. The latest prototype is a bike called The Contortionist by design student Dominic Hargreaves. The Contortionist is a bike that folds into its own wheel. Over the last few years, there’s been a noticeable push by both student and industrial designers to offer an improved and credible 26’’ folder. Last year, Mark Sanders IF Bike was launched.

The Contortionist has a full-sized aluminium frame which collapses sleekly into the circumference of its wheels making it a viable commuter bike that can fold up for train or bus journeys. This would give it the smallest fold size of any available 26’’ folder currently available.
